On Thursday, October 22, 2026, at 7:30 PM, the Aventura Arts & Cultural Center will host Dracula, a ballet inspired by Bram Stoker’s famous novel of the same name and presented by Arts Ballet Theatre of Florida.
The original choreography is by Italian artist Roberto Forleo, Artistic Director of The Florida Ballet in Jacksonville, Florida. Forleo has developed an extensive international career as a dancer and choreographer, and the Italian Cultural Institute in Miami was pleased to host him on September 24, 2026, for a conversation dedicated to his professional journey.
This reinterpretation of Dracula brings the Gothic atmosphere of the novel to the stage through the language of ballet, combining passion, tension, and theatricality.
The production by Arts Ballet Theatre of Florida, under the artistic direction of Vladimir Issaev, is presented as part of the company’s 29th season, in a particularly evocative performance taking place in the weeks leading up to Halloween.
