The Sanremo Music Festival (Festival di Sanremo), the most famous Italian pop music event, comes to Miami as part of a tour through United States and Canada in the first half of May!
The Sanremo Giovani World Tour 2025 brings on tour in North America the young talents of Italian music. They are the artists who performed at the Sanremo Festival 2025 in the Emerging Artists category (Nuove Proposte), after winning the Sanremo Giovani 2024 event.
On Tuesday, May 6th at the Colony Theatre in Miami Beach (1040 Lincoln Road, doors open at 19:30) we will be able to experience the live music of Settembre (winner among the “Nuove Proposte”), Alex Wyse, Maria Tomba, and the duo Vale LP & Lil Jolie.
The band accompanying the singers is led by the project’s musical director, Maurizio Filardo. Maestro Filardo, a composer and producer, has a long musical collaboration with the Sanremo Festival and the Sanremo Giovani project; he is also the author of the soundtracks for several high-profile Italian films, including the famous Perfetti Sconosciuti (Perfect strangers).
The tour is organized by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, in collaboration with Italian national tv Rai. The other dates are: May 2nd, Montreal; May 4th, Toronto; May 8th, New York; May 11th, Chicago. The Italian Consulate General and Cultural Institute in Miami are in charge of the local organization.

THE ARTISTS
The singer-songwriter Settembre is establishing himself as one of the most promising revelations in the Italian music scene. Born and raised in Naples in 2001, he possesses a distinctive, gritty voice and a unique talent for capturing the emotions of Generation Z. From an early age, he took singing lessons and participated in competitions and talent shows, consistently standing out in Io Canto, The Voice of Italy, and X Factor. His musical influences stem from Italy’s great singer-songwriters, from Pino Daniele to Lucio Battisti. The young artist is winning over audiences by blending the Neapolitan dialect with Italian songwriting. At the Sanremo Festival 2025, Settembre won in the Emerging Artists category (Nuove Proposte), receiving the Mia Martini Critics’ Prize and the Lucio Dalla Press Room Award.
Alex Wyse, stage name of Alessandro Rina, is an Italian singer-songwriter with over 80 million streams across digital platforms. After graduating from BIMM London, he gained recognition with his song “Sogni al cielo”, which led to his selection as a contestant on the talent show Amici 2022. During the Amici finale, he debuted his song “Non Siamo Soli“, which became the title track of his first EP, reaching #1 on the FIMI charts. In November 2022, he released his first full-length album, “Ciò Che Abbiamo Dentro” (gold-certified), preceded by the single “Mano Ferma”. On October 25, 2024, he released “Amando si impara”, paving the way for “Rockstar”, the song that secured him a spot in the Emerging Artists category of the 75th Sanremo Festival.
Maria Tomba is a young singer, born in 2002, who has gained recognition for her vibrant personality and unique style. Originally from Verona, Maria began her artistic journey at a young age, nurturing her passions for music and fashion. Her career took a significant turn with her participation in the talent show X Factor in 2023, where she captivated audiences with her infectious energy, vocal talent, and signature “nightwear” outfits. Maria stands out for her creative and ironic approach to music. Her songs, such as “Crush” and “Goodbye (Voglio Good Vibes)” earned her a spot in the Nuove Proposte category at the Sanremo Festival 2025.
That between Vale LP and Lil Jolie is a friendship born eight years ago in their rooms as teenagers in the Campania region. Since then, they have been sharing travels, experiences, relocations and the dream of music, which in February, sees them starring in the Emerging Artists section of the Sanremo Festival with the song “Dimmi tu quando sei pronto per fare l’amore”.
Born in 2000, originally from Caserta but now Milanese by adoption, Lil Jolie (real name Angela Ciancio) grew up as a rebellious child, breaking the rules and taking up guitar lessons just to defy routine. In 2018, she began making a name for herself on SoundCloud, catching the attention of the hip-hop scene. This led to collaborations with Carl Brave and Ketama126, followed by the release of her debut album “Bambina” in 2022. In 2023, she joined Italy’s most famous talent show, Amici, where she stood out for her shy yet determined personality and the elegance of her lyrics. After this experience, she released the EP “La vita non uccide”, featuring the single “Kiss Me”.
Born in 1999, Vale LP (stage name of Valentina Sanseverino, Naples, 1999) is an Italian singer-songwriter and rapper. Blending rawness and poetry with a unique attitude, her sound merges hip-hop and singer-songwriter influences, incorporating elements of popular culture, soul, R&B, and funk. She competed in X Factor in 2021, reaching the final stages with her original song “Cheri”. 2023 was a pivotal year: she released her debut EP “e sono felice”, then participated in Sanremo Giovani, where she reached the final rounds with her song “Stronza”. The track was later included in her debut album “Guagliona”, released in May 2024 under the Sugar Music label, featuring the hit single “Fortuna”.
