The series of bimonthly meetings with Italian scientists based in Miami continues.
Professor Paolo Romanelli presents an analysis of psoriasis and skin diseases, examining their impact from both a clinical and social-economic perspective. On this occasion, preliminary results of a study linking skin health to sudden cardiac death are also introduced. Additionally, during the event, the professor discusses the interesting case of the Jackson Memorial Hospital clinic specialized in treating psoriasis, and specifically aimed at underprivileged patients.
Professor Romanelli, MD, is a faculty member at the Phillip Frost Department of Dermatology and Cutaneous Surgery at the University of Miami, Miller School of Medicine. For over 19 years, he has been the Director of the Psoriasis Biologics Clinic for Underprivileged Patients at Jackson Memorial Hospital.
