The Italian Cultural Institute in Miami is pleased to announce the launch of Come Musica – The Power of Music in Education, a project designed to promote the study of the Italian language through the universal message of music.
Protagonist of the initiative is Teo Bok, a young singer-songwriter born in Milan and currently based in Miami, who will meet with students and teachers through a series of events hosted by schools, institutes and universities across Florida, where Italian language is taught. Through listening and analysis of iconic Italian singer-songwriter classics and the performance of original songs, Teo will guide students on a musical journey aimed at sparking their interest in the Italian culture, encouraging learning in an engaging and creative way.
The activity, supported by the Italian Cultural Institute in Miami, will be inaugurated with a public launch event on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at the Institute’s headquarters in Coral Gables. On this occasion, educators and school representatives—as well as the general public—will have the opportunity to learn more about the project, attend an acoustic preview of Teo Bok’s performances, and explore with him the deep connection between music and education.
Teo Bok is a multifaceted artist who has successfully blended his European background with international influences. Born to an Italian – German family, he began his artistic training at a very young age, taking part in successful musicals such as The Lion King, Billy Elliot, and Peter Pan. After appearing on television shows like “The Voice Kids Germany” and “Sanremo Young”, he embarked on an artistic journey that led him to perform across Europe and Latin America, eventually relocating to Miami, where he continues his career today.
Thanks to his intercultural experience, musical sensitivity, and ability to connect with younger audiences, Teo Bok embodies the spirit of a modern performer capable of promoting Italian as a living, contemporary language. Come Musica is an invitation to discover the educational power of music as a vehicle for emotion, knowledge, and dialogue.
